An artist from the heart of Louisiana, he’s seen the style evolve from something people “clowned” him for to a global phenomenon. “Shout out to Beyoncé, she got the whole world on board right now, and it’s an amazing thing to see,” he says with his Louisiana accent coming through.

A close friend of mine (of non-black decent) asked me; why isn’t it titled ALL HUMANS ARE BEAUTIFUL? I paused at first, as I shared her same feelings. Then, unlike her, I began to think about the harshness and racism I experienced as a child and as an adult.
