Wednesday, June 18th, Magenta Light Studios hosted a red carpet premiere event at the DGA Theater for the new action comedy film “Bride Hard” available only in theaters Today! In attendance were stars Rebel Wilson (“Sam”), Anna Camp (“Betsy”), Anna Chlumsky (“Virginia”), Justin Hartley (“Chris”), Gigi Zumbado (“Zoe”), Sherry Cola (“Nadine”) and director Simon West.

Rebel Wilson, the Australian actress, producer, singer, and writer best known for Pitch Perfect and Bridesmaids, is back in tulle for the summer’s most unpredictable action-comedy mashup: Bride Hard. Premiering today, the film follows secret agent Sam (Wilson), who trades covert ops for a very different kind of mission—maid of honor at her best friend’s extravagant destination wedding. But when armed mercenaries crash the ceremony, Sam has to fight back—without blowing her cover or ruining the big day.

Think Bridesmaids meets Die Hard, with fistfights in heels and bridesmaids throwing shade, punches, and punchlines. Full of plot twists, sharp humor, and perfectly timed chaos, Bride Hard is the fierce, funny adrenaline ride you didn’t know you needed.

FULL SYNOPSIS: For bada** secret agent Sam (Rebel Wilson), blending in has never been part of the mission—until she’s maid of honor at her best friend’s extravagant destination wedding. Out of her element and surrounded by high-maintenance bridesmaids and a strict “no weapons” policy, Sam is determined to prove she can be there for her friend—even if emotional support isn’t exactly her specialty. But when a team of mercenaries crashes the party and takes the guests hostage, Sam is thrown into a fight unlike any mission before—one where she can’t risk blowing her cover or ruining the big day. As she takes on the bad guys in a high-stakes battle disguised as a fairy-tale affair, she realizes the real threat might be closer than she thinks. Now, it’s bridezilla vs. bazookas as Sam dodges bullets, brawls in heels, and tries to survive both the armed assailants and the wedding planner’s wrath. Some missions require the perfect cover. This one just requires the perfect dress.
