PowHer Play Professional Women’s Breakfast 2018

100 elite professional women gather for a dynamic exchange of professional and personal learning.

June 27, 2018 – Houston, TX – Join The Chatman Women’s Foundation (TCWF) for the PowHer Play 2018 Professional Women’s Breakfast. Emmy-nominated Reporter/Anchor, Erica Simon of the ABC 13 television station will host the event on Friday, August 10, 2018, at the Junior League of Houston from 7:00 AM until 9:00 AM. This event has received rave reviews for the past 4 years and the TCWF is glad to further their mission of empowerment and professional growth.

At this breakfast, women have the opportunity to network and mentor one another as industry and professional experts on key topics. PowHer Coaches are seated at each table and facilitate discussions as well as share personal experiences of success and failure for each woman to learn from. Also, for the first time ever, PowHer Play invites men to have a seat at the table, “With all of the # hashtag movements swirling around on social media, I thought it was time to do more than tweet about the issues.  It is time to have a real conversation about the pay gap in business, misconduct towards women in the workplace and many other topics that cannot begin to be changed without having an open and honest conversation with both men and women present” says Founder, Shantera Chatman.

The great part about PowHer Play is that strong, powerful women are giving advice to other strong and powerful women. Women from all major industries including banking, government officials and Fortune 500 companies attend the event to share experiences and learn from others. The time is now for collaboration and open conversation.
