Mr. Monday Returns! Season 4 of “Single Ladies” to be picked up by Centric

When VH1 announced season 3 as the last season (due to ratings) for Single Ladies, people were outraged. Fans took to social media begging for its return, they even requested spin-offs just to get some form of the show. The romantic comedy is about three best friends’ vantage points on love, relationships and business. VH1 thanked their fans for their support of the show since its debut in 2011, and on March 24th, 2014 they said goodbye.

Well fans can now say HELLO to Season 4 of the sexy, fashion forward show! BET’s sister company Centric has picked up the show for a 4th Season! Single Ladies cast starred: LisaRaye McCoy, Denise Vasi, D.B. Woodside, Charity Shea, Travis Winfrey, Terrell Tilford. Season 3 added additional big names to the cast, Harold House Moore, Damien Dante Wayans, and (Houston’s Own) LeToya Luckett.

“We are thrilled to be working once again with Flavor Unit Entertainment and Queen Latifah. She does it all and we are happy to have her join us as a creative force as we continue to grow Centric into a premiere destination for African American women. We couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead,” said Debra L. Lee, BET Networks Chairman and CEO

This is not the first time BET has picked up a canceled show, in 2009 popular sitcom “The Game” was picked up and is now in its seventh season.

Right before the last show, #TeamStyleMag got a chance to speak with one of Single Ladies fan-favorites for an interview…Read Below!

@WhozHouse is not only a cute twitter handle for Single Ladies Harold House Moore, it’s a question that millions have asked since the handsome actor appeared as baby Franks brother Terrance (Season 2). Since then, women and men have been glued to their TV’s every Monday night to catch a glimpse of “Mr. Monday”. Men because they are able to relate to Terrence in one way or another as the urban bad boy gone good, the tenacious business man, or the handsome gentleman with a “boy next door” demeanor. Women are glued because well, let’s face it, he’s HOT! But don’t call him just another model turned actor. He is a strong willed, witty, intellect that knows how to connect well with people and is on the cusp of stardom! The former behavioral therapist who wants to “carry the weight of the world on his back”, sits down with #TeamStyleMag and discusses his character on Single Ladies and much more!

“I’m nothing like you think I am, I’m more of a home body and creative intellectual person…I like to think ahead, a mind mogul… most people think I’m just a pretty boy with lots of women…I’m not thirsty or have a lot of women because I’m focused.”Harold House Moore

On acting:
How do you feel the level of your acting have evolved since you’ve first started acting

HHM: I feel like it has grown tremendously especially since NYC 22. That show had great directors and I think it helped me. Single Ladies was more natural and relatable. My focus is always to grow and be one of the best to do it.

“There was a need for Terrance on TV; he’s a well dressed urban successful guy, that’s not really seen on TV.” – Harold House Moore

On his Single Ladies Character Terrance Franks:
Terrance is so unpredictable but has such a lovable quality, is he anything like Mr. Harold House Moore?

HHM: Definitely the lovable aspect, I’m good people. I believe Terrance is the most identifiable and relatable character. Terrance is 4 steps ahead, and I try to be like that as well. He is also very genuine like me. As a black actor it’s a lot of us out there that isn’t very genuine. That’s why I want to shout out to Kevin Hart because he puts people on his back and he takes a risk doing it. When we do things like that we help each other and keep each other relevant; I totally respect him.

On the Steamy Sex Scene with Co-Star Denise Vasi
That scene with Denise had you on the tip of everyone’s tongue. Do you feel like that scene launched you into TV’s sexiest actor?

HHM: I think it definitely one of the focal points to establish myself as leading man caliber. TV is a way to live vicariously, and people were able to see a softer side, a gentler side, and more romantic side of me.

On being called a “Black Actor”
What are your thoughts on being called or profiled as a black actor?

HHM: Listen people are going to label you what ever they want to label you. If you are paying me you can call me a blue, purple or green actor, as long as you don’t disrespect me. This is just the world we live in, I think a lot of time black people find something to complain about. Personally I have no problem because if majority of people look at me and are inspired (especially people where I’m from) and it motivates them to excel or propel towards a higher goal, then I’m a black actor. I am not insecure or worried about a label putting me inside of a box.

“She is a Beast!” – Harold House Moore, on Anne Hathaway.

On making Movies:
Who do you want to work with in Hollywood?

HHM: You know what I was just talking about this. I think Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Kevin Hart, and I should do a Bad Boys 3. Kevin and I can be the rookies, like the new Will and Martin. [Also] I would love to work with Brad Pitt, Denzel, and a woman I love to death Anne Hathaway. Anne Hathaway is one of the most talented actors ever! I would love to work with her.

“My biggest fear is not being what God put in my heart to be, I feel like I have so much to bring to the world, my biggest fear is not getting it out…I’m at the door of stardom I just have to figure out the code so that I can use it to influence [In a positive way]…I’m not out here just trying to get attention or get fame.” – Harold House Moore, on what is his biggest fear.

On working with Destiny Child:
I have always been a fan of the guy in the DC3 Solider video with the toothpick in his mouth, but I did not know that was you, how did you land that?

HHM: [Laughs] Yea it was crazy, that video [Solider] is very popular; I was one of the first to do the whole toothpick in the mouth thing. Working with Destiny’s Child was great; I also played the leading roll in the Girl video which was a lot of fun. The feed back was amazing and I booked those jobs via modeling, but I never set out to be a model I just happened to book those jobs that way.

On Relationships:
I do not ask evasive questions like relationship questions, I feel like if you wanted me to know you would tell me.

HHM: No you can ask! I am single. People become stagnant in relationships and one person outgrows the other. You can’t make someone continue to grow; their finish line is their finish line. I want someone who has that over all stamina to continue running together. My major in college was health education, so I want someone who I can grow old with. But if you are already eating badly and don’t want to run well then its not going to work. This is in all aspects of life. Date on your echelon.
