Support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As you well know, the entire month of October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Health leaders say breast cancer is the most common form of cancer among women in the U.S.  One out of every eight women in the United States will get breast cancer, and 1 in 1000 men will. There are countless statements from loved ones that include “If we only would have known sooner, they would still be here”.

During the month of October, people wear pink ribbons, buy produce that goes towards cancer research and The White House even glows pink all in the name of those battling breast cancer, surviving breast cancer, or who’ve lost their battle with breast cancer.

This year however, you have a chance to do something extremely different that will directly impact someone’s life. Artistik Rebel Creative and I have joined forces and created the “Wear Pink” shirt to serve breast cancer a harder punch! This shirt allows you to show the world who you are wearing pink for, by writing the name of your loved one on the shirt. If you have multiple people you are wearing pink for, you write one name today, erase it and write a new name tomorrow. You can also list the names as this shirt is completely writable. More importantly, each purchase goes towards a free screening for an uninsured person.

I Wear Pink for my aunt Veloria Allen. The beautiful, vibrant, soul from Greenville, Mississippi, loved her family unconditionally. My mother’s sister/bestfriend lost her battle some 15 years ago.

LET’S MAKE A HUGE IMPACT! JOIN US IN OUR FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER!
